Frames of Love at the Catskills Animal Sanctuary - Gobble & Groove 2017

Once again I had an amazing time at my favorite place to be the Catskills Animal Sanctuary last Saturday at the annual event Gobbles & Grove. This event offers a variety of activities for adults and kids such as live music, animals tours. cooking classes, Drawing, several vendors, plenty of tasty vegan food, speech by the founder Kathy Stevens and for last feeding the turkeys with the sound of lovely music.

They also had a lot of pumpkins donated to feed the pigs and it is so adorable to see how much they enjoy.

I was amazed by how well organized it was and mostly with the positive energy from everyone, especially from the animals, but that is expected since animals are all about pure love and should be protected.

Since I am a regular; I went straight to the point, which was found Tucker, a 10-year-old beautiful Cow, rescued by Catskills Animal Sanctuary from the dairy industry. Tucker stole my heart in 2015 with his sweet personality  Tucker is probably the biggest cow I have ever seen and that caught my attention. His size doesn't stop him to create special bonds with humans and other animals

The best part when I am at the Catskills Animal sanctuary is to see children getting to know the animals in which confirm that we are all born vegan but was taught that eating, wearing and using animals are normal.

Tucker spreading love and showing how friendly all cows are.

Thanks to Animal sanctuaries like the Catskills, we now have places where we can teach our kids that these animals are lovely, smart and just want to live like all of us. Animal sanctuaries are extremely important for educational purposes.

We live in days where most people just see these animals dead for sale in the market, restaurants in furniture, clothing and so on, which is the main cause that we are blind by the trillion dollar animal agriculture corporations.

With Tucker

Never in my mind, I would imagine I could have a place to interact with pigs like Sister Mary, goats like Violent and so on. But now it looks like there are people out there trying hard to create a better world with no animal cruelty in it through education.

The ceremony of feeing the turkeys under music it is beyond beautiful and a reminder that life is better when we can interact with creatures that love the sound of soft music .

Kathy Stevens speech led me to tears,  her work in how she found these animals and their bond is out of this world.

The feeling you have when you leave the Catskills Animal Sanctuary is very powerful, we feel blessed and love.

I find important these days to educate the public with nutrition facts in which leads to the truth which is we do not need to eat or consume animal products to be healthy, it is the other way around. There are also alternatives to cruelty-free fabrics than to wool, leather, and fur.  When comes down to cosmetics we have a large variety of cruelty-free
products, in which the end of the day is just a matter of look for them.
I encourage you to give your support to Animal Sanctuaries so they can go on with animal rescues and use as a much needed important educational tool. We all deserve the truth.

The evidence that animal agriculture is damaging our environment and health is everywhere so like Kathy Stevens said, we are running out of time.

However, may we keep trying to send the very important vegan message in any way we can, and maybe we can have a better environment for our children and an alternative for an eco-economy without cruelty in it.

I invite you to visit the animals of the  Catskills Animal Sanctuary,, to go their amazing events and find out more about their work visit their websites and social media.
