Fall in Saugerties and Visits to the Catskills Animal Sanctuary
Animal Sanctuaries are very important for the animals, for education and the environment. It is crucial to support Animal sanctuary in any way we can. I am lucky to have a few amazing Animal Sanctuaries nearby; I became a huge fan of the Catskills Animal Sanctuary in 2015. I am always impressed how much they teach about animal rescue, animal care, but mostly who teach me the most when I visit, are the animals at the sanctuary who are lovely! The Animals at this Catskills Animal Sanctuary are ambassadors for all animals and teach us that they have the need for a family, friendship and want to live just like all of us. It is unthinkable that humanity got into a level of greedy where most can no longer see what is an animal, and how much evil is the violence committed towards them in order to have them in your plates.
I like to believe we are better than that and we can one day wake up and understand that animals are not food and that we have all the nutrients needed for a healthy life from grains, fruits, seeds, and vegetables. It is a no-brainer being a vegan, we get healthier with tasty vegan meals, we do not contribute to horrific animal cruelty and not contribute to massive defloration for animal agriculture that leads to serious environmental issues. Why not have fewer chances of cancers, diabetics and heart diseases, eating well without contributing to animals suffering? It is very simple and there is nothing stopping us from making such a positive decision which is to go vegan.
It is lovely to have an animal sanctuary nearby like the Catskills Animal Sanctuary, and to be able to make visits with my dogs Lilly and Sam. who were not purchased, Lilly 12 years old and was a surrender, Sam was adopted by Petfinder and the Havanese Rescue in November 2016, and he is 2 years of old. There are many dogs available for adoption in animal Shelters, rescues, surrenders and foster homes. Lilly and Sam love a variety of vegan food for dogs. These days there are amazing reliable Vegan food brands for dogs and many are thriving on it.

There is no difference between my dogs, cat and the farm animals. They are just as lovely and friendly. We are the same.
